In a significant move towards enhancing power efficiency, Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd. is pleased to announce the commencement of its smart meter installation project across the state of Uttarakhand to enable more efficient and optimized power delivery and consumption.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who was present for the project’s inauguration. His presence certainly made the occasion more special, and it was an honor for us to felicitate him at the inauguration ceremony.
Genus will commence the first phase of installing smart meters across Dehradun, Rishikesh, Roorkee, and Haridwar. Our VP, Sanjeev Chawla, in a recent conversation with India Voice, discussed how Genus’ smart meters are contributing to the development and betterment of communities across Uttarakhand. Moreover, the Genus team is also set to conduct Consumer Awareness and Training Programs to educate consumers about the daily life benefits of smart electricity meters.
Genus smart meters will allow consumers to make online payments and access real-time consumption tracking. For the residents of Uttarakhand, this initiative means not just savings on energy bills but also a significant step towards a greener future. The installation of these meters is not just an upgrade to the electrical infrastructure but a move towards empowering consumers with the knowledge and tools to manage their energy consumption efficiently.
